 Good addition to Zuvo if neededSep 13, 2009

This butler kit is designed for the Zuvo water "purlator". It looks quite stylish, and the handle can be held down for a burst of water, or lifted up, where it locks in place until you push it down, thus providing continuous water flow.
The only issue I have is that when you let go of the handle, the water gradually dribbles to a stop, rather than shutting completely down instantly. I find this a bit frustrating, in that I will either be wasting water or my time. That is why I gave it four instead of five stars.
This kit is needed if you have the kind of faucet which is removable; ours has a spray head on a flexible hose instead of a fixed faucet. Hence my need for this device.
I would suggest professional installation, especially if you have to drill a hole in the sink, which was required in my situation. I also had the plumber drill a hole in the counter, so that I could have the Zuvo above the sink rather than under the sink in the (included) bracket.

I bought this thru Amazon about 10 months ago. I drilled the hole in the sink and did the proper installation, following instructions very precisely.
It's a terrible product in terms of the plumbing valve design/function. It leaks constantly as is noted by another reviewer..in fact in a steady, slow stream. I checked, rechecked, tightened, reposiitioned, etc. After 6 months, I finally installed a separate stop valve with longer tubing inserted between the faucet and the ZUVO supplied special pipe tap shut off valve to make it easy to reach under the sink to turn the faucet on and off. The pipe tap works fine to shut off flow but is inaccessible except when you reach below the sink all the way to the back where the cold water supply line runs. Don't buy it unless you are looking at significant plumbing modifications to compensate for the lousy internal valve design at the fuacet end!!!
BTW, despite all that, the water tastes great even tho it's a chore to fill the carafe for the refrigerator (as mentioned above.)

We've had our Zuvo Butler Faucet Kit with our Zuvo Purator for 6 months. I have no complaints. The unit was fairly easy to install for a new homeowner with absolutely no plumbing knowledge (we already had a hole in the sink from an unused soap dispenser).
6 months later, the unit is still working just as well as it did from day one. It's so wonderful to get rid of filter pitchers from taking up valuable counter and refrigerator real estate!
I only take a way one star because it does not shut off immediately when you let up on the lever... it sort of dribbles to a stop. But I would buy it again if I needed to and I highly recommend it for use with the Zuvo Purator.

This faucet was delivered after a little delay (must be from shipping into Canada). It was easy to install based on the instructions. I already had the filter but wanted to mount it under the sink; this allowed for the under sink mount. It is more than just simple water faucet due to the nature of the Zuvo filter.
