This product I am SO HAPPY with! I just can't sleep without it. This product also has 3 - 4 different card you can purchase separate for different scenarios!
I am the surf and rain type person and the sounds lull you to sleep immediately, even if you are a daytime sleeper that works overnight. I now can not hear the garbage truck banging around outside or the lawn men that come faithfully every week for 3 hours straight or the noisy neighbors anymore!
Large on/off feature that you can 'find' in the dark...ha-ha-ha!
AAAAAHHHHHH!
And did I mention this product costs much LESS than those other products doing the same thing?
Trust me, I give this product a good workout, I've had it for a full month and use it every day...it plays continuously for 5 - 6 hours straight...sometimes longer. And I wake up refreshed!

I like it, and would not return it, but a few of the sounds are VERY close to what came in the unit. I like the loons and the bonfire, but what you like is very personal and varies from person to person. What really matters is, "does it sound like a loop?" If I can hear a loop it drives me nuts. I dare anyone to pick out a loop when you lay your head on the pillow. Good product, good sounds. zzzzzzzzzzzz

I have used several sound machines in the past and this unit is the most versatile I have owned. The sounds produced are pleasant with a variety to pick from. The speaker seems to be of better quality than most.

We purchased this sound card at the same time as the Sound Oasis machine because we wanted a good thunderstorm soundtrack. I think we found one in this product. The sound cycle is continuous and there is no perceptible beginning or end. I don't remove the card very much but, I would say that the few times I have, it seems a little difficult to re-insert into the slot. I have not damaged the card but I have felt a bit frustrated with trying to get the alignment just right for an easy installation. Our son was around 14 months old when we bought this card and ever since the first night, about one year ago, he has slept like a good little baby. My wife and I both travel for a living and we get to go as a family quite often. This has helped maintain the sleeping environment for all of us while living in hotels.

Bought this sound card specifically for the "bonfire". Really disappointed in that sound - it is very "canned" and there is no variation. Who ever heard of a fire that doesn't crackle and pop? This is the poorest quality of any Sound Oasis sounds.
As for the rest of the sounds on the card, they are OK but don't really add much new to the basic sounds you get with your machine. So...I don't recommend this unless you want a specific sound on this card (pass on the bonfire though!).
