Superior Quality!May 27, 2010
By J. C. Wagner I've used a 4-wheel rollator for two years with great success, but it's heavy, and with my particular problems, quite difficult for me to lift into and out of the car. My hope was to find an additional one that not only could stay in the car, but that was lightweight enough to easily lift in or out as needed.
This rollator is absolutely solid and high quality, and at about 9 pounds, exactly what I needed for my purpose. It is extremely maneuverable, and the large wheels allow it to roll easily over most normal obstacles such as thresholds and rough parking lots. It "parks" more compactly in offices and restaurants, another benefit over the 4-wheel version. I leave it in the car, using it only when I go somewhere that requires my getting out of the car, while continuing to use the heavier one around the house. Not having the struggle of lifting the big one into and out of the car has given me more freedom to go!
It arrived almost completely assembled, requiring only that the handlebars be inserted at the proper height, easily accomplished with the large knurled adjusting knobs.
PLEASE NOTE! People considering this device should be aware that it does not supply the sideways stability of a 4-wheel rollator. For someone who needs total support for balance in walking, it may not be quite safe enough, because when more pressure is put on one handle than the other, it has a tendency to tilt to that side. This is not a fault of this particular device, whose back wheels are spaced wider than my 4-wheel type, but an inherent drawback present in all rollators with only 3 wheels. If the back wheels were far enough apart to prevent tilting, it would be difficult or impossible to negotiate doorways and other restricted places.
I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone who needs just partial help in walking or balance, or one who is constantly aware of how it's being used. Otherwise, the 4-wheel is much safer.

Great light maneuverabilty at less than half price!Dec 15, 2005

I bought one of these locally for more than twice this price (and I did not get the basket) and have had several people ask me where to get them. Back problems and balance problems necessitate some extra help on uneven ground or even indoors in stores with uneven floors (such as antique stores or ma and pa gift shops or apartments). I can move with this walker lockeded at full open position or squeeze it narrower in small aisles and to get around obstacles. This can be done while rollating, and this walker can get in tight spaces a regular walker can't possibly approach. The basket and bucket are wonderful for toting purchases, purse, mail, or whatever I've gone to pick up. I even took this 1/3rd of a mile down a rough country lane to my house after that lane was blocked by hurricane debris. I used the bucket to haul out household essentials (a hibachi, some tools, clothes and such all in one trip). It's a deep pocket and has a nice privacy cover that snaps over to obscure contents from view. I especially like the brakes, which give me confidence on downhill ramps. I also lke the wheels, which are bigger than in some less expensive models and tend to negotiate all kinds of surfaces better than others do. I have tried all kinds of walkers and this one is the easiest and most useful, even moreso than the 4-wheel rollator with the seat. This is lighter--light enough that I can't hurt my back getting it in and out of the car. It also folds nicely next to the seat or booth in restaurants or movie theaters. At this price, this light but sturdy walker is a safe (pun intended) bargain!

Perfect for errands and travel.Dec 19, 2009
By Tom Shifrin I bought this because my mother hated taking her full-size seat-brakes-4-wheel walker out; it didn't fold and was heavy. This is light, folds easily, and is perfect for running errands and going through airports and in taxis. It's not quite as stable as the 4-wheeler, but since it's so much easier to use and carry, she actually uses this! It has no seat, and limited carry pouch, but is fantastic as a portable walker. Highly recommended, 5 stars.

Super...Mar 17, 2010
By Leo Very light (about 12 lbs), sturdy and comfortable to walk with. Very easy to fold and put inside my car. I wish there were a seat constructed with it so that the user could take a rest when needed.

Terrific little rollatorFeb 17, 2010
By MollyDog's Friend This is a wonderful little rollator for a small adult. I am 5'3" and it suits my frame well. I'm not sure a 6' person would feel comfortable, however, even with the handles raised. This little rollator is light weight so that it is easliy loaded into a vehicle. I have a larger 4-wheel rollator that I can barely get into a trunk by myself, so this is a big improvement. It is small enough to fit into the back seat of my SUV which the 4-wheel model did not. So far, I have not felt insecure with only the 3 wheels, but have not had it on uneven ground yet. The frame is sturdy, the vinyl bag is spacious, and the brakes work well. The flame red is snazzy. I believe the weight listed in the product description at 4.8 lbs is wrong. Other sellers and sites list the weight as 9 lbs, and that feel true.
