Stabilicers Replacement CleatsFeb 04, 2009
By Carole L. Jones
"CLJ"
The replacement cleats came as ordered and in a very appropriate time span. Have not needed to use the replacement cleats as of yet as the original ones have held up even with walking between 5-8 miles a day. As we were unable to find the replacement cleats in our town, we were extemely happy to find them on Amazon.

great value for the moneyDec 30, 2008
By DozerIAm These things work great. They don't shift around, slide off to the side, build up ice, or fall off - all problems I've had with other types of "strap on traction assistance devices".
I've yet to slip out on these things and I've hiked wearing them thru ice, mixed ice and snow, deep wet snow and deep power snow, while on hilly sidewalks, roads, trails, and off trail in the deep woods.
I'm going with 4 stars rather than 5 only because they should but don't come shipped with spare cleats, and the cleats as delivered really should be dipped in Loctite, to better keep them in long enough to wear out - my first season I lost a total of 4 screws, but had hardly any wear on the survivors. I removed all the screws and used a drop of Loctite on each, so far this season I've lost no screws.

David's bag of little metal thingsJan 21, 2010
By Grandma Sparky David bought the shoe things to go with these but got the wrong size. The company was great about taking them back and crediting our account. He must not have wanted them too much, since he has not ordered another size. But this little bag of metal things fits in a junk drawer just fine.

Beware - small pack.Dec 01, 2008
By Timothy B. Levine Beware. Unlike the 50 packs being sold other places on Amazon at nearly the same price, these are only packs of 25 cleats.

Great Way to Standup on IceFeb 25, 2008
By J. Bollman The Stabilicers Overshoe are a great product and being able to replace the Ice Cleats when they get worn, extends the useful life by many years. After two years of use I noticed I was slipping some. Order a new set of cleats and I'm back safely walking when I should be inside. Would be nice if they bagged them in the quantity you need for a full replacement, but in truth they don't wear evenly and 25 is enough to replace the worst studs. I did wait a little long and several were worn beyond easy removal with a wrench and had to have a grove cut in them with my Dremel tool so I could use a screw driver on them. Next time I will not wait so long.
