Took me three weeks to get used to this pillow, but am really glad I stuck it out. The description made the Core sound harder to use than it actually is. For instance, it said that sleeping on your side is a bit tricky. I haven't found it so, but I will admit, I'm shorter than the average person. The dip in the center is large enough for me to turn my head.
The first thing my pillow has to do is support my neck. The right side gives me grief, but this does well. It also cradles your head--once you get used to it, it's great. With a satin pillowcase on it, the Core has the added benefit of keeping your hair in place.

Great size for me!May 23, 2011

I've been having alot of neck issues, causing headaches, ringing in my ears, and some dizziness. I'm seeing a chiropractor and physical therapist, and both have told me I need to find the right pillow. I tried a few different sizes/firmnesses the last few months, but still had problems. Then my chiro suggested finding a pillow that had a "hole in the middle", so it would support my neck. After a little internet searching I found lots of options for this type of pillow, but decided on this particular one because of the size. I'm 5'4" and average, and this pillow is actually a really good fit on my neck! Each side is a little different, so you can find what is most comfortable for you. I've had it a week, and it only took about two days to get used to it, now I'm perfectly comfortable. And I haven't woken up with a cramped up neck since I started using it! It might need replaced in a couple years or less, but hey, I'll be spending alot less on pain killers, so I think it evens out.

This size is perfect for women--one side of pillow is higher than other side so you get 2 choices for what is best for you. It will take 2-3 nights to get used to it and then you will never want to be without it!

Due to nighttime reflux, I frequently sleep on my back with the bed head elevated. Traditional pillows are not conducive to this arrangement and I was having increasing problems with neck and shoulder pain that reduced my sleep time per night to only 2-3 hours (ugh). Desperate, I did some research and found this pillow. It noted that it was suitable for back and side sleepers, and provided neck support in each position. I figured I would give it a try, as the cost was moderate. Unlike many pillows I've tried, it was immediately comfortable (and believe me, I've tried the gamut: air pellet pillows, memory foam pillows, pseudo-down pillows, etc.). The first night I used it, I slept more than 5 hours straight, and awoke with minimal neck discomfort. I thought this was a fluke, but night two with the Mid-Core Gentle pillow brought 6 hours of solid sleep! Now have had it for three weeks and I am still finding it comfortable and still sleeping much better. I am pleasantly surprised and pleased with the results of using this pillow.

Tried this pillow out and it is just too firm no matter which side or way you sleep on it. It may work for snoring but we didn't get the chance to find out because my husband could not get comfortable enough to fall asleep. The company originally said we couldn't return it but then eventually said they would make an exception but since I would be responsible for the shipping fees and a restock fee and that made no sense to go through all that hassle of repackaging it, waiting in line at the post office, etc. only to end up with like $15 back on my credit card. We kept it for now and will try it again but not happy at all with this pillow. Surprised it got such high reviews. I guess it's fine if you like firm pillows. I had high hopes :(
