 Ad describes wrong! It's only 10" long- NO EXTENSION !Aug 29, 2009

The description would imply bracket is 6" with a 10" extension. Over all length
of bracket is total 10". Not really long enough to hang a large bug zapper or large
plant. Deceiving description, had to return and buy a longer bracket.
I also bought the Flowtron 80 and had to go out and buy a longer bracket.

This is a sturdy bracket for hanging your bug killer. I especially like the feature that locks the lamp to the bracket.

When I received my bracket it was missing the welds on the top of the bracket. Amazon was great to deal with as far as the return process.
However, for $17.00 I would expect an American made product, not one made in China. There is not much to the bracket. Check your local hardware store, you may be able to find something cheaper and better that will serve the same purpose.
This item will serve the intended purpose if you purchase one. Make sure you inspect your bracket as soon as you receive it. Amazon allows 30 days to return it.
To sum it up, this item is overpriced and not a high quality product.

Pretty basic device not worth writing a whole lot about.
It serves it's purpose although the mounting screws could be a little longer and galvanized for exterior use. None-the-less the bracket is sturdy when mounting on the exterior siding.

I love the look of this styled bracket. It is easy to mount, and adds a touch of class to any outdoor scheme.
We use it to hold our bug zapper (see...classy!), and it works very well, holding the entire fixture easily and appears to withstand most weather.
