The channel on the bottom of the zoomer Z2 captures water to provide ideal propulsion for longer distances, while the back ridges strengthen the hamstrings and glutes. Swimming fins utilize a patented angle and quick response technology to promote a shorter, faster kick that makes the legs work harder while reducing the occurrence of burnout. | | | Features: | |
• Zoomer Z2 fins are shorter in length than standard swim fins.
• Patented short-blade construction: Promotes a small, fast kick while increasing proper leg strength.
• Fluid separator: Creates a 'natural extension of the foot' so that the foot can slice through the water with ease.
• Channel Convertors: Catch water so the swimmer can drive the legs and work the kick in both directions for maximum propulsion.
• Closed heel, light-weight design: Provides comfort and security, allowing the swimmer to stay more active throughout the entire workout.

Great Leg WorkoutJul 14, 2007
By Kai Ayana I had to get used to these a bit but once I did, they work wonderfully. First of all, I like that they offered a wide range of sizes - I have very small feet and I purchased their smallest, which fit great. Creates good buoyancy and I can really feel it in my legs after doing an hour of laps. It also allows me to focus on my arm and shoulder rotation when swimming. Highly recommend.

Z2 less than Z1Dec 18, 2007

Did an informal test, comparing Z2's to regular Zoomers. The newer model is supposed to have some technological improvements but is comparatively much smaller - in terms of surface area - than the "regular" Zoomers. Kicked two laps with each set and found the Z2's to be about half as effective in terms of providing propulsion. Needless to say, I've returned them and purchased a pair of red "original" Zoomers that are working just fine.

These flippers are amazing. They help me train for swimming 6 days a week and they have really strengthened my legs and have put less stress on my arms when they hurt.

Z2 vs. Original Blue ZoomersJun 23, 2009
By D. Tamura I have been using original Blue Zoomers for the past ten years. When my last pair broke I decided to try these Z2's. They are a little longer and narrower than original Zoomers. To me they seem to give a slightly more natural kicking motion but with a little less power than original Zoomers. I would rate Z2's better than the original Blue Zoomers, but only by a very slight margin. Both versions work well and make kicking fun.

Z2 ZOOMER FINSApr 11, 2010

If you are at the end of the size scale for a given size letter - go the next larger size. I wear an 8.5 and size E was way too tight. Size F is fine.
