Exactly as described and delivered promptly. Though meant for children, fits my adult size-3 feet very well. Only problem I've had is with the foot strap, since sometimes it shifts so that one side slides off. Takes more effort to use than individual fins, so gives a better work-out. And it is fun!

Got this for fun. A girl I babysit loves to swim with this in her pool. She loves it! You get a fast motion and you can make believe your a mermaid or a dolphin. If your thinking of buying a mermaid costume try this first this is so much fun just by itself.
Pros: Fast movement-pretty design-easy to put on-I'm a woman 7 wide shoe fits perfect-can fit women up to 9 shoe size-good quality.
Cons: straps can sometime hook off (but can easily be hooked back in, very easily- may hurt your heel (you can buy water socks)

Okay so it was a month and a half late. But when it FINALLY came... it was extremely fun to swim in! It was the child size so the foot pockets were a little bit narrow, but i have tiny 6 1/2 asian feet so it's all g. I was suprised at how easy I learned to swim in it and get a good dolphin kick going on (at least i think it was good)
The straps kept coming off but it wasnt really a biggy since im just using it for recreational swimming (and soon to be mermaiding :D) just pull the strap back on and you're fine. also it's not blue, it's yellow...
So it's a pretty good product over all

Received Finis Wave monofin from Amazon today; was backordered when my husband placed order, and actually arrived sooner than expected. Packaging from Amazon and speed of delivery were excellent. From Amazon's product photo I was expecting blade color to be blue, but actual color is yellow; a surprise, but not a problem.
Pros: The blade appears to be made of the same sort of flexible, lightweight plastic used in quality recreational snorkeling swim fins (I live in Hawaii, and we have a lot of fins around to compare); flexible is GOOD. Foot pockets are a very soft and comfortable rubber. Blade is long and wide enough to provide good propulsion while still compact enough that my 9-yr-old son is comfortable using it.
Cons: The sizing information on this product is downright misleading -- it is MUCH SMALLER than led to believe. Amazon's product page, Finis's product page, and the product packaging itself claims that this will fit "up to" to women's (US) size 8 or men's (US) size 7, which it does NOT. I wear woman's US size 8 narrow (A) width (or men's US 6), and the foot pockets were so narrow that I had trouble getting my feet into them. Wearing fin socks, could not fit feet in at all. My younger son wears size 4 narrow, and the foot pockets fit him perfectly. My older son wears men's US size 7 regular width, and he COULD NOT fit his foot into the foot pocket at all; it was much too narrow. The pockets are definitely sized only for young children. Also, the rubber strap which goes around the heels is a problem. I was able to get it to hook for me only by adjusting it to be as long as possible and stretching it a bit. Since the wide part meant to sit on the back of the heel doesn't slide or adjust, it wound up too far to the inside and poking up into my ankle bones while the narrow strap cut into my ankle.
This might not matter much if a person is only using it to play around in a swimming pool, but this product says it is for open water use as well, and overstretched, badly-fitting gear can be DANGEROUS in open water. So, not only is this product being sold claiming to fit sizes beyond the size range it will safely fit, but it also claims to be usable by that size range in a very hazardous environment. Buyer beware.

my daughter and i loved this item. i found that the product was flexible and solid is perfect for my daughter. it was the right size and it was perfect.
