This was recommended to me give me a different type of swim work out (i swim just for training, not competition), and it definitely has helped. It works out your whole core, and legs very well, also giving you better stamina, i can run much longer and dont gas out. I recommend, also, if the fin hurts you, you can buy some fin socks, they are huge!

Looks interesting but I never received my monofin. Someday I would like to see what it would be like... hopefully it will arrive as it cost quite a bit of money.
