Worthless, not as advertisedFeb 14, 2010

See those silicon soft guards on the clip.....well the pix is the only place you will see them. My clip also had just one loop, not the 2 featured, The plastic was very hard and cheap. Try as a might there was no way to put it on my nose and have it stay for more than 10 seconds. If I could have gotten it to stay it was so tight i'm sure i would have done damage...and i have a small nose. Yes these things can't be returned for the obvious reasons--health, but this is not what i ordered...either it was defective or just plain junk.
Worse, when I called the company to tell them about this.....they wanted me to pay to ship it back to them so THEY COULD DECIDE if they should replace it......and if so, they charge me for the shipping again.........I explained to these Einstein's that I'd then be paying 2-3x the price for a defective useless item. Mind you Amazon is great, they almost always offer free return shipping...and free shipping offers.
Amazon is a great way to shop and you can count on them to carry great products.......every now and then a dud like this gets in, and the company's customer service is just salt in the wound.
Read the reviews & write the reviews.............Companies need to remember...."The Customer is Always Right", "What can I do to fix this, I'm so sorry you are unhappy", "Sorry we'll refund your purchase and shipping ASAP", "Sorry we'll refund your $$ and we'd like to offer you a coupon to try us again, we really appreciate your biz and would like you to give us a second chance"..........what happened to this???????
Especially in this economy we cannot let companies walk all over us and do nothing--we have to hold them responsible.....this may be just a $3 item, but it's this type of attitude the encourages others............ie. OUR BANKS to rip us off and then expect us to bail them out...
