Love them!Jul 03, 2010

I've been swimming competitively for almost 24 years. I started using swedish goggles about 15 years ago and still love them. I purchased these to have another pair on hand, and was very pleased with the changes. Old goggles used to come with very sharp edges around the socket which had to be "worn" down through use or with tools. It took some getting used to. These did not have that. They were very comfortable from the start.
For people not familiar with this product, they are no frills goggles, that only have the socket which goes over your eye. There is no padding or other useless stuff around the socket which, for me, never really seemed to work anyway. Anyone having problems adjusting the knot in the middle so that the sockets are close enough together need not really bother. Just tie the knot and if it's too big, then twist the goggles so the string is pulled tighter until they fit properly.
I attribute the lack of fluff around the eyes to these goggles' uncanny ability to maintain a seal when I'm diving in (even from heights) and pushing off the wall. I highly recommend to all!

Must be constructed, horrible nose pieceNov 02, 2010
By kamikazewave These goggles have the design I want at a cheap price, but what they fail to mention is that the nose piece is just a piece of string with a plastic covering over it. Be prepared to spend time preparing your goggles, getting them together so that they work etc. These aren't just open and use goggles.
The nose piece is horribly designed. It's just a piece of string that you're expected to tie together. No matter how hard I try, I can't get it to be a tighter fit. Most people simply can't tie a know that well with so little room to work with, that would make a good nose piece.
These goggles still work. They are reasonably comfortable, and have exactly the type of lenses I'm looking for. Unfortunately, the crappy nose design makes these goggles not a 5 star.
The nose piece sucks!May 15, 2012
By Polly, NY It's okay if you just swim for fun or swim from time to time. However, if you really wanna use it quite often, don't waste your money!!!! I was a bit disappointed when I found they gave me a string to make the nose piece. That was weird!! Since it was really cheap, I just tried to use it in stead of returning. But the string wasn't durable at all. When I used it several time, it was leak. So, just pay more and get the better one.
Tricky to use, but goodMar 06, 2012
By Nick These are great, simple goggles, but at least for me they are tricky to get adjusted properly, and they don't work very well when not adjusted properly. Take some time before you go swim to get them set up correctly, otherwise you'll be in for a surprise when you get to the pool.
Don't think i bought the right kindFeb 22, 2012
By NewDay Honestly speaking, I didn't know what I got. It is not a traditional kind of swimming goggles. You basically have to set it up. No use for me now.
