I purchased this mermaid fin for my daughter who is crazy about mermaids right now. I was very pleased with the quality of this product. My daughter has size 6 (women) feet, and the fin fit her just fine. There is a really nice adjustable strap made of neoprene or something similar that holds the fin to the back of the heels. This makes it much more comfortable than a hard plastic strap that most swim fins come with. The shipping from the vendor was very fast and there were email updates from both Amazon and Swim2000. If you have a daughter that is crazy about mermaids, I highly recommend this product.

My daughter and her friends love these uni-fins. You can't get them tight enough if you have bare feet. BUT - if the child wears swim shoes (the kind with the rubber sole) the strap will grip much better, and the rubber soles of the shoes keeps the fin from coming off. Here's the kind of swim shoe I mean: Easy USA - Girls Aqua Water Shoe, Black, Royal. My daughter has used her mermaid fin hundreds of times in the past two years, no problem.

I bought this for my 5 year old to bring on vacation with us. It was a big hit. She loves using it. It says it fits shoe sizes 1-7 but she is only a 12 1/2 and it works fine for her.

These are JUST for FUN they are CUTE but hard to swim with and they have to come off when evermy daughter gets out of the water. All the other girls gather around when she wears them. Which makes her feel special I would buy them again. Also, swim shoes help to keep them on.

My daughter L-O-V-E-S the tail and she swims in it EVERY time she goes swimming! She even sits in the Jacuzzi with it on. We went to a local fabric store and bought fabric and made it over her legs and tail and works amazingly!!! She even started a mermaid show on youtube called Mermaid Secrets. THEIR A HIT! it lasted for 2 years of swimming in it hundreds of times and doing a bunch of tricks. it finally split in the middle a little bit so she is swimming in it until we buy another. Its so cheap i don't mind buying it whenever it needs to be replaced because its so cheap! We were very happy how it turned out and would recommend it to anyone who wants one. The strap is adjustable and easy to slip on the heels, the plastic is sturdy and bendy for swimming, it has rubber on the bottom so it don't slips when wet, and is a perfect size for ages 5 to 13! The only thing I can think of that is bad is that you have to be carful on land not to hop because you will fall. Its an amazing thing for ocean and mermaid lovers so you would not EVER be disappointed about getting it. so I hope this helped you deciding to get this mermaid mono fin!
