5great for perfecting stroke techniqueJul 06, 2009

I am a swim coach and I bought this for my 7 year old. I try to use these everyday at swim practice. There are so many different parts to a stroke kids have to learn this makes it easier to break it down into smaller parts. You have to breath so without this it is impossible to take that part out and just work on the stroke or kick separately. I recommend this for any kids wanting to be on a swim team and the adult version for adults that would like to swim for their workout but find the breathing part difficult to grasp.

5I love this thing!Apr 12, 2012

I'm kind of a wimpy swimmer (adult) and just starting to get into doing laps, but timing the breathing and neck strain has always made swimming less enjoyable. Now, I put on my goggles, mp3 player and this snorkel, and I go for 60 minutes. I'm not training for the Olympics (and I know I look ridiculous, with all that stuff on my head), but I love just getting in the water and concentrating on the strokes. This snorkel is the shortest (easiest to breathe), and least expensive of this Finis style, so that's why I bought it. The only con is that it gets a little brain-squeezy, especially if I'm wearing a cap! But only after 45 minutes or so, so overall it is a win. My kids just think its okay, but they mostly are diving for toys, etc and not doing laps. I vacillate on weather or not I like this nose clip, usually I use the speedo silicone. I seriously look crazy. At least I don't have arm floaties!

The seller had sent an item which was broken. I hadn't opened it for more than 5 months since it was winter time when I ordered. Now when I opened, I realize that the product was already with missing important parts.. ..!!
the whole thing is a big useless junk tube..
