this product does what it is supposed to do. i found that i had two phones issuing(based on the noise level) high levels of microwave radiation constantly from the base unit---one reaching where i sleep and both into my study. one was a dect phone and one a digital spread-spectrum 5.8Gz model. not all digital phones put out radiation from the base unit, and not all cell phones while simply turned on. but the most surprising discovery was the high amount of radiation that was coming through the walls of my condo from my neighbors bedroom. it was her cell phone, which she promised not to use in her bedroom in the future(and i had stocked up on jumbo-size tin foil to cover the wall between us before talking to her). Tin foil will help cut down on the radiation. i was going to put 4 or 5 layers on the wall. fortunately, i didn't need to.
