useless cooling capJun 29, 2011

No matter how GENTLE you are in squeezing the cap after soaking in water, the "crystals" in the band seep out. Thus you wind up with a soaked bandana, which keeps you cool for minutesS NOT hours. Your better off with the old standard bandana for $1.50. And the shipping and handling. What a rip off. Totally $21 wasted. I had the same problem last summer trying to GENTLY squeeze the cooling vest. But to no avail. The "crystals" in that to seeped out. I wound up buying the Hyper Cool vest with the 6 gel packs that you put in the freezer. I'm glad I bought the additional 6 pack back up set. Now that cooling vest WORKS as advertised
