First of all, I recommend that if you want this product, get it off of the Amazon.com website. It's priced better. And if you're out of state, you'll save sales tax. Therion sells it directly but does not match any web or discount stores lower prices.

You could buy this Cera Flex insert if you have a serious heel problem, or flat feet, or similar and your Podiatrist says that you need an insert in your shoe to provide extra support for your feet. Then take the insert and try to cut it down so that you can insert it into your shoe and wear it all the time - not easy to do at all. That's why I say try to get the right size from the get go. If you need this product and can do this, it might be worth it. The magnets in there are plentiful and powerful. It actually feels like little electrical current running through the bottom of your feet - but no higher than that.
However If you don't intend to do this, then I think it's a waste of money to buy this Cera Flex or the top of the line Neo Flex.

The disadvantage of the Cera Flex (and Neo Flex) is that they are much harder to get into a shoe or sneaker because of the wider and raised heel shaped supports and because it's doesn't come exactly fit to your foot like in a shoe store when you try a number of pairs on and take one that fits right. It's also much harder to put into your sock if you want to sleep in it at night and get a benefit over night for your feet. Although Therion doesn't recommend walking on it in bear feet.

In many cases you would be much better off with the bottom line Ener Flex insoles(which compared to many companies out there would be considered the top of the line foot insole in their entire line) and it has the same magnets as this more expensive Cera Flex - the middle product in a line of three insole products from Therion Inc. It goes like this from low to high: Ener Flex, Cera Flex and Neo Flex.

The ceramic magnets in the Ener Flex have a good field penetration. But it doesn't have the special heel support as in the Neo Flex and Cera Flex. It's easier to put the Ener Flex, bottom line insole into any shoe or sneaker. It has about 25-30 strong ceramic magnets. It's worth the money and the savings over the top of the line Neo Flex or cera flex is substantial. Naturally no one would tell you all this but a consumer who bought from them and learned this the hard way and hopes you don't make the same mistakes as he.

Buy the way, I've also looked at a lot of other companies foot insoles and I don't think any compare to the bottom line Ener Flex insole that Therion sells. (but that doesn't mean that if you searched long enough, you couldn't find a better one) I've observed that either their Gauss rating is much lower as from 2450 and below,. ( 2450 is not bad but not great and you can save even more money with a moderate 2450 or so Gauss insole. But 800 Gauss is really very minimally effective. Like on a scale of 1-10 where 10 is the best, the rating on an 800 would be 1. I've also found that many companies insoles contains crushed magnetic metals (which are not as strong and don't penetrate as well as solid magnets) compared to about 25-30 real solid magnets in their low end Ener Flex. (even though you can't feel them at all. To prove they are there one would have to actually cut open the product to really prove that what they say is exactly what's in there). A friend of mine did this with a futon mattress sold by a major mattress company and ended up suing the company for false claims, when what was stated to be in the product on their website, was not really in the product that they sold.

Therion has no rating with the BBB but some of it's distributors (who also distribute other products too) have "A" ratings. (And that doesn't mean it relates to this product) Like for example, better health that distributes this product on Amazon has an "A" rating with the BBB but if you look closely at their file, bbb.com they have 7 complaints against them for items involving returns/exchanges/refunds. And they don't tell you what product/ products that relates to. It could relate to this product for all I know? And if you email them, they won't answer you about that question.

Their sales people are very untrained as to facts about these products and tend to give you incorrect information and don't really care one way or the other when you email them back and ask them to correct it to bother to get the correct fact. You can get this product from a number of companies on Amazon. I personally would not recommend Better Health based on my experience with them.

And if you buy this product, I would email them and ask them about the size you're ordering. For example: How much does the insert measure with a measuring tape? Like does a 7 to 9 mans actually measure 9 inches long? Or does it measure 10 inches or more? (because when I received mine, it was almost 2 inches longer. Like in the example above if a 7 to 9, arrived and was measured by me to be two inches longer. That can cause a problem in how it fits and how it can be used or not used. And ask them when you get it if it doesn't measure that (what they tell you), can you return it at their expense?

About returns: It's very hard to return foot insoles as these. If you use it at all, they won't take it back. And if you don't use them and it came looking used, they will think you used them. I'm not saying not to buy them, they can provide drug free solutions to many problems and are entirely safe (if using the north side) Just be careful, ask questions, and read the return polices VERY CAREFULLY about whom you buy it from.

Good luck.

p.s. I suggest that you do not buy any insoles (or any magnetic products) that have bi-polar magnets - both north and south in the same product facing the same direction, on the same side of a magnet. They can be on opposite sides of the magnet - that's okay.

Only buy magnets that have the north side (they contain a negative magnetic field) facing the body. They are the most therapeutic. This product has the north facing the body.
