I work outdoors in a railroad stockyard 9 hours a day 5 days a week and have been using this for 5+ years now and think it's great it keeps my head and face toasty warm. The little vent/filter is great that it keeps my mouth area dry. Other masks that I have tried tended to get damp around the mouth area and become very uncomfortable. I did purchase a second balaclava to keep in my car for when drive to the park to take my dog for walks. We can walk much longer without me freezing to death. One drawback I found was that after I washed it, the mouthpiece/filter didn't fit back into the sleeve properly and it was annoying. Maybe I should have called the manufacturer and asked for washing reccomendations. And yes, the last reviewer does make a very good point that it is not as compact to slip in your pocket. I worry that mine will fall out of my coat pocket as it does fit but not completely but I keep mine in the car or in my locker at work or it's on my head. If you work outside or just spend time walking your pet in the winter, this does make the cold weather much more tolerable. It's also great to wear if you have to shovel snow in the winter.

Helmet Balaclava Psolar HX Heat Exchanger Headgear by Healiohealth is a great product. It fits well and I have a large head. It allows for easy breathing which is it's most unique feature, distinguishing it from similar headgear. I wore it in -15 degree temperatures and was very comfortable. A little pricey but I found the breathability worth it. It is durable as well.

i purchased this headgear because i ride my m/c yearround and in 20 degree weather it kept me totally warm an this is without a helmet TOTALLY AWESOME, would strongly suggest to anyone to buy this

Returned it. Buy a regular one that is easy to throw in the pocket. This thing is a gimmick.
