Description:

Airzooka is a hand held fun gun that fires a ball of air up to 30 feet. Laugh with amusement as, seemingly from nowhere, you are able to mess up a person's hair, ruffle their shirt, dress, or papers from a desk from a distance, or just plain blow 'em away!. The AirZooka operates by simply by pulling back and then releasing a plastic air launcher! The Airzooka uses no batteries and requires no ammunition - it uses the air around it. Airzookas are completely safe! To operate the Airzooka: 1) Flip up the sight. 2) grip the handle with one hand and the elastic air-launcher with the other. 3) Aim. 4) Extend your arm fully while pulling the air launcher straight back. 5) Let go! The Airzooka releases a ball of air like a catapult straight at your target (whatever that may be). Airzooka shoots a "vortex" of air in a similar manner as the way sling shots operate, but does not require ammo. the plastic membrane whips from a convex cone to a concave one in a small fraction of a second, and that causes a pulse of at least four and a half liters (around 1.2 gallons) of air to shoot out of the Airzooka's opening. For ages 6 and up.

Hand held fun gun.

5SOOOO much funFeb 08, 2010
By Scout Mom
Great toy that doesn't require a lot of assembly or batteries. Get two of these and just the pure fun of sitting across the room from each other is hilarious to watch your opponents' hair fly. My son and niece loves these (and husband). Hours after opening every gift after Christmas, these were still playing with these. I was afraid that the plastic inside would tear quickly, but it is incredibly strong. My son has had his for 2 years, and I just got one for my niece.

2You get what you pay forDec 28, 2009

Assembly was a problem. Parts did not allign well and after a few uses the hoop came loose that holds the bag. I could not get it to stay after that and resorted to good old duct tape to hold it on. But it was only 14.95. I think the charge for shipping was almost as much. So it is a pretty cheap one. Maybe one of the other models works better. These thing are pretty cool, when they stay together.

5Very fun toyJan 07, 2010
By Andrew Miller "In2bator"
We purchased an Airzooka a couple of years ago from another website, and have had a blast with it. It is larger than I expected - approx 1 foot across and 18 inches long. It took an adult to assemble it, but once it was done it has since had no problems. It is somewhat loud when you shoot it, so it may scare very small children and animals (our cats hate it). However, our 3 year old loves it and doesn't mind the sound at all. He stands on his bed and I shoot a ball of air at him from across the room and (even if it misses him) he falls backwards onto his bed and bounces while making an "Ugh" sound. Then he springs right back up and we do it again. And again. And again. And then it's my turn to stand by the bed and he tries to shoot me (it's hard for him due to its size and the strength/coordination required to pull back the cord and aim at the same time). I always fall down on the bed and he laughs and laughs. He would continue to do it indefinitely, but I usually tire of it first. Our Airzooka shoots longer than 20 feet, although the accuracy really goes down on longer shots. It's fun to ruffle the curtains or poof my wife's hair all the same. I paid about $20 for the Airzooka and I would pay it again.

2Fell apart the first dayAug 24, 2009
By Future Fun
I thought this product would be alot of fun and generate alot of laughs for the kids. They did think it was fun at first, however the hardware came apart quite frequently. I saw a piece from it on the floor the other day. I guess they got tired of putting it back together all the time. Another toy for the garbage :(

2Not worth the moneyJan 07, 2008
By Steven D. Ayers
I've heard about this "airzooka" ever since they first came out with them and always thought it would be a fun thing for boys to play with, so I bought 2 of these for my 11 year old son and 6 year old grandson for Christmas. First problem was that my sons box didn't come with any screws to hold it together which caused us great grief on Christmas morning. The next problem was that it wasn't as fun to the kids as the company makes them look. The 6 year old had a really hard time pulling the the thing out far enough to shoot the air sufficiently, so he had a fit. When our 11 year old tried the one that DID come with the screws, he wasn't all that impressed after the first initial bursts of air at his sister.
Honestly, I think personally they are a big waste of time and money, not to mention the fact that I have contacted the seller twice to get the missing screws and we still haven't heard back.
